Planning projects for the step-by-step and long-term intervention of a building, in the form of a Rehabilitation Passport, based on the knowledge generated by the Digital Register of the building throughout its life cycle. These two new complementary instruments are presented in the last revision of the EPBD with claused elements to consolidate the objects of the European Renovation Wave and guarantee a quality built park for all people.
The Digital Register of the building, focused on collecting and improving the knowledge of the built stock, is a digital tool that acts as a common record of building data, and facilitates transparency, trust, informed decision-making and the exchange of information between all agents.
The Rehabilitation Passport, focused on defining a long-term strategic vision, is an instrument that accompanies the community throughout the step-by-step deep rehabilitation process that allows to increase the quality of the building in all its aspects, with objective of improving people’s living conditions and reducing the environmental impact throughout its cycle.
