Digital book and building passport

Digitization and step-by-step renovation of the building

Planning projects for the step-by-step and long-term intervention of a building, in the form of a Rehabilitation Passport, based on the knowledge generated by the building’s Digital Register throughout its life cycle. These two new complementary instruments are presented in the latest revision of the EPBD as key elements to achieve the objectives of the European Renovation Wave and guarantee a quality built park for all people.

The Digital Register of the building, focused on collecting and improving the knowledge of the built stock, is a digital tool that acts as a common record of building data, and facilitates transparency, trust, informed decision-making and the exchange of information between all agents.

The Rehabilitation Passport, focused on defining a long-term strategic vision, is an instrument that accompanies the community throughout the deep rehabilitation process by steps that allows to increase the quality of the building in all its aspects, with the objective of improving people’s living conditions and reducing the environmental impact throughout its cycle.
